they told me this would work for my sony cybershot, but when i got it, the card was nowhere near fitting the slot. i wish they gave me better info, i would not have purchased to begin with. then when i returned (Due to their error) i still was responsible for paying the Shipping and Handling fee, and the restocking fee. after everything was said and done, i lost out on about $8, and still have no card. the wrong card that i got, also looked very used. i would expect that type of quality from a used card from ebay, not a "new" one from an amazon seller.
Wow I got a great price on this. Works good, although I don't know what is so extreme about it. I use it in my D80 and it did not really seem to speed up the performance.
I purchased this memory card for my Nikon CoolPix 4200 with great expectations, before finding when it arrived that my camera would not read the card. After much searching online, I finally found on SanDisk's website that many older computers and cameras are not compatible with SDHC cards, so I wasted my money on this purchase. You would think that somewhere on the item description they would warn you of this potential issue, but I'm now out of luck. Could be a great card, but I may never know.
The reader came in a retail package with clear installation and use instructions. The BlueProton card reader is small and simple to use. Considering other sites sell the card for more than this, it's still a great deal. The card can store data as fast as my camera can generate it, and I can store about 45min of TV ("high") quality video, or 1378 10Mpixel images.
Fastest performance at the lowest price. It also arrived very quickly (ordered Friday, arrived Monday).I have a Nikon Coolpix S600 and selected the Sandisk 4GB Extreme III SDHC because of its speed and price.
Forget the complaints about the extra shipping for the "free" BlueProton reader, this is an excellent deal. The total price for both was less than $28 including the extra shipping.
Since I had an older 1GB SD card with an older USB card reader, I also needed a new SDHC card reader. I ordered the combo with the "free" Blue Proton SDHC card reader (you pay a flat shipping fee for *each* product even though it's in the same package - which is spelled out clearly in the BlueProto shipping details).
The camera's battery must be recharged before the card gets full. The card came in a clear unmarked plastic snap-case, not loose in a static bag, and appears to be brand new. It self-installed on both our Windows and MacOS machines, and transfers data about as fast as a laptop hard drive.
Card works very well. It arrived exactly like the description said it would, inside a static envelope. Much faster than the standard cards like those sold by Kingston and Transcend. The item was NEW. I purchased the card from BlueProton as I had good experiences with that company in the past. They did not disappoint.
